For centuries, the soul of Vietnamese culture has been captured in a single, timeless masterpiece: The Tale of Kiều. Written by the legendary poet Nguyễn Du, its verses are so vivid that they have long followed the ancient East Asian philosophy of Thi trung hữu họa—the belief that within every great poem, a painting lies hidden.

Over the last hundred years, many have tried to capture Kieu's essence through illustrations. But for us, Vẽ Kiều (Painting Kieu) is more than just adding pictures to a book. It is a transformation.

To "Paint Kieu" is to act as a translator of the soul. It is the delicate task of taking the sublime beauty of Nguyễn Du’s words and reimagining them through the language of shape, color, and light. We don't just paint what is written; we strive to paint the silence between the lines, the emotions that linger beneath the ink, and the spirit that prose alone cannot reach.

This story now moves from the canvas to the cloth. 39 Concept proudly introduces a collection of unique designs, born from the contemporary brushstrokes of the renowned artist Lê Thiết Cương and design by artist Nhat LE.
